Four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel<\/a> is counting down his last races with Ferrari<\/a> in Formula 1 and is actively exploring his options for 2021 and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While he will most likely want to remain in the pinnacle of motorsport, the idea of competing outside F1 for a season or two might appeal to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, the boss of a racing team which competes in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) has publicly offered him a drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American film producer and automotive entrepreneur James Glickenhaus has said he would gladly have Vettel at his team next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf Sebastian ever wants to drive in Le Mans, we have a cockpit for him! I would be very happy to have him there,” the boss of the Glickenhaus Racing team said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also accused Ferrari of treating Vettel badly, and said the Italian outfit has a history of mistreating its drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I don’t know anything about the internal workings of Ferrari, but as an outsider I know they have a long history of treating drivers badly. This even goes back to the days when Enzo [Ferrari] was alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“But back to Sebastian, Ferrari seems to continue that tradition, and I don’t think this is a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vettel was the team\u2019s number one driver when he was partnered with Kimi Raikkonen, but he has struggled to match younger teammate Charles Leclerc this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The German has been linked with a move to Racing Point<\/a>, which will be re-branded Aston Martin Racing next season, but this is far from confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another option is Vettel re-joining Red Bull<\/a> to replace Alex Albon<\/a>, but, as I discussed in this article<\/a>, the chances of this happening are slim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
