Four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel<\/a> should be wary of his new environment at Aston Martin, according to former F1 team principal Colin Kolles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kolles, who previously served as team principal of various F1 teams \u2013 including Jordan, Midland, Force India and most recently HRT \u2013 said he believes the combination of Lawrence Stroll<\/a> and Toto Wolff at Aston Martin could be \u201cvery dangerous\u201d for Vettel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am of the opinion that the Stroll-Wolff combination is a very dangerous one for Sebastian Vettel,\u201d Kolles said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMany factors are playing a role in the background,\u201d he added, without elaborating any further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll owns the Aston Martin F1 Team and British automotive company Aston Martin Lagonda<\/a>, and it is rumoured that Wolff recently purchased a stake in the car-maker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kolles also commented on his previous relationship with Wolff and fired a jibe at the Austrian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMr Wolff was a business partner of mine \u2013 I brought him into Formula 1, even if some people don\u2019t want to know anything about that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing, he downplayed Wolff\u2019s contribution to Mercedes’ domination of the V6 turbo-hybrid era of Formula 1, saying: \u201cThe structures were all established by [former team principal Ross Brawn].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe [Wolff] is called the lap dog of Mr Stroll. That is a quote from Bernie Ecclestone,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
