\u201cIt\u2019s not easy to be the \u2018son of,\u2019\u201d Rosberg said this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd with Mick it\u2019s again 10 times more difficult because Michael\u2019s days weren\u2019t that long ago and he was even more successful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe media attention will be great, initially probably even greater than that of Lewis Hamilton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hope Mick can put that aside and concentrate well on his job \u2013 otherwise it takes away a lot of the fun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe media won\u2019t give him time, but he will have to take it for himself. It takes time and patience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter all, I had to wait seven years to win my first race and 11 years to win the title. You have to consider that if you want to rate Mick this year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mick has tended to need a year to settle into a new racing series before gunning for the Championship in his second season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most recently, this was the case for him in Formula Two, with him winning the title in his second F2 campaign, ahead of Callum Ilott<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite Rosberg and other pundits saying that Mick will face extra pressure because of his father\u2019s legacy, the young German said it serves as a \u201cboost\u201d and gives him extra motivation to succeed in motorsport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never said it was pressure, I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever say it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m very happy to carry that surname and very happy to carry that name back into F1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m very proud of it, I\u2019m happy to have it. It\u2019s like a boost for me and it gives me motivation every single day to work as much as I can and as hard I can,\u201d Schumacher emphasised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
