Haas driver Oliver Bearman has confirmed his ultimate career ambition is to secure a full-time seat with Ferrari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 20-year-old rookie made headlines last season when he substituted for Carlos Sainz at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, impressing many with a strong debut performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also filled in at Baku and Brazil for Haas before being rewarded with a full-time race seat for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having been part of Ferrari\u2019s driver academy for years, Bearman admits his loyalties and aspirations remain with the Italian team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOf course that’s my goal in life,\u201d Bearman told reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI got a taste of doing that when I got the call up last year and that is my motivation in life, to hopefully one day be able to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m focused on my thing over here, and [there’s] not really much communication between myself and Ferrari,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy job is to show what I’m capable of, and leave teams in general without a choice. That’s my job, to do the best possible. And that’s a long way away. It doesn’t happen overnight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The British driver made it clear he is not setting a timeline for when he might achieve his Ferrari dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo time frame, nothing like that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bearman is also realistic about his development curve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m just focusing on what I’m doing, trying to improve myself because I still see a lot of room to grow within this team and also to make the most out of myself on a more consistent basis,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He believes Haas provides an environment where he can build his skills and prove himself capable of competing at the highest level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can still see a big trajectory within myself, which is a good feeling, and means the more I focus on myself, the better everything’s going to be,\u201d Bearman said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For now, Bearman\u2019s path runs through Haas, but his connection with Ferrari continues to fuel his ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His standout performance in Jeddah has already shown he has the potential to handle the pressure of racing for a top team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
