Browse the latest F1 job vacancies<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He raced with Ferrari from 2010-2014 before returning for a second stint with McLaren from 2015-2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His Ferrari stint saw him gain 11 Grand Prix wins and come close to winning his third Championship on two occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This era cemented his place as one of the most successful drivers in Ferrari&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ferrari Enzo was a symbolic car that linked him to this historical period, with the iconic V-12 supercar dating back to 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Alonso has finally given the vehicle new ownership, selling it at an auction that took place on June 8th at the Monaco Auctions House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alonso recorded a message to bidders, saying: &#8220;It means a lot to me.
