{"id":22640,"date":"2023-03-06T17:22:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T17:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/formula1news.co.uk\/?p=22640"},"modified":"2023-03-06T13:46:26","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T13:46:26","slug":"fia-grants-permission-for-driver-to-carry-mobile-phone-in-the-cockpit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/formula1news.co.uk\/fia-grants-permission-for-driver-to-carry-mobile-phone-in-the-cockpit\/","title":{"rendered":"FIA grants permission for driver to carry mobile phone in the cockpit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Formula 3 driver Christian Mansell has been granted permission to have a mobile phone in his car this weekend at the season-opening round of the junior championship in Bahrain, as a result of his medical condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;FIA&nbsp;have massively clamped down on what a driver can have in a cockpit with them, resulting in the governing body locking horns with seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamilton recently went against the FIA after&nbsp;jewellery&nbsp;was banned from the cockpit;
